All individuals lives matter, there should be no need to point out differences unless it has to do with a persons beauty.

This is not how I thought I would be starting my Blog but it is something I feel very strongly about and find very important to myself and also to everyone else. When I found this image I was in awe, who ever created this image has such a beautiful mind. With everything going on in the world it really makes you realize how important the beauty of this photo is. Recently alot of notice has come to the discrimination of different coloured individuals, that being said this is not a new thing. This has been going on for decades and it needs to come to an end. The story that really brought out everyones attention was the story of George Floyd, father of a beautiful girl and loved one of many. His life was taken in such a largely and unnecessary matter. No matter the "crime" or wrong action someone takes in this world they do not deserve to have their life ended by being knelt on over their neck leading them to loose conciseness, calling out for their Mamma, and passing on from lack of breath. When I heard this in the news my heart dropped so low, I couldn't even believe what I was hearing. I am someone who strongly believes in diversity and everyone living their lives to the fullest and feeling equally treated by one an other. Growing up I never noticed a difference in others skin colour, in fact I still don't. I see others backgrounds and beliefs but never have I ever had a thought of "Oh they look different." When I was younger I got some exciting news from my aunt that she was going to be adopting three children who were all brother and sisters. When she first introduced us, my god I was so filled with joy and excitement. The three of them had African American background and I couldn't wait to have the honour of watching them grow up and getting to learn along side of them about their culture. Still to this day we are always learning. Learning that sometimes they will be seen different and we can't do anything about it and also learning there is a lot more as individuals that we need to take notice of and listen to. Everyone is learning but there is never, ever a reason to discriminate against someone because of their skin tone. Everyone is beautiful and put on this Earth for a reason.

Discrimination based on skin colour is also known as *colorism* or *shadeism* in which individuals who are the same race are treated or seen differently on social implications.

You have the right to speak up, you have the right to your opinion. Even if you do for some reason see things the other way.. but if you have a heart and see things clearly do not be afraid to speak up to individuals that show forms of racism. No matter if the form of defending is towards yourself or someone important in your life, or even a stranger that you see being discriminated against. This is all very common within Schooling and workplaces, along with just leaving and entering a bar or restaurant type scenery.

So please; Stay Safe, Stay Equal, Stay True To Who You Are.

Be original and tell your story to those who do not understand.
